Three sets of automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS) are planned for the new factory, including a raw material warehouse (4 stackers), an assembly warehouse (4 stackers) and an electrode roll warehouse (4 stackers), with supporting material distribution by AGVs and hoists.

A comprehensive application of hardware and software systems including stacker AS/RS, MES, WMS, WCS, RCS and PDA is adopted in the project.

This project has solved the problems of intelligent storage, unmanned handling and turnover in multiple warehouse areas of the new factory.

It has realized the linkage between MES and WMS, and achieved intelligent management such as automatic distribution, automatic buffering and FIFO (First-In-First-Out). The logistics and storage of the new factory are thus enabled with intelligent and information-based management.
