Working Principle
The Fly Bin Racking System features Fly Bin robots as its core equipment, enabling the efficient handling of turnover bins through robotic operation. Its working process is as follows:
Cargo InboundCargo is first placed into turnover bins, after which staff scan the cargo barcodes and the relevant information is logged into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Robot ResponseIn accordance with system instructions, Fly Bin robots move rapidly to the designated positions and accurately pick up the turnover bins.
Storage Location AllocationThe system allocates storage locations comprehensively based on factors such as cargo inbound and outbound frequency, weight and volume. Cargo with high outbound frequency is prioritized for lower shelf layers near the outbound ports for convenient and quick access.
Cargo OutboundUpon receiving order information, the WMS calculates the storage positions of the turnover bins containing the required cargo and issues instructions to the Fly Bin robots. The robots proceed to the target storage locations promptly, pick up the turnover bins and then transport them to the designated workstations along the optimal route.
Path PlanningThe system leverages technologies such as laser navigation and visual recognition to plan the optimal travel paths for Fly Bin robots and prevent collisions between them.
Inventory ManagementThe system is equipped with an inventory management function, which provides clear visibility of the stock quantity and shelf life of each type of cargo, enabling First-In-First-Out (FIFO) inventory control.
The Fly Bin Racking System features high flexibility, high efficiency and low operational cost. It is ideal for industries with stringent requirements for storage and retrieval efficiency, flexibility and intelligent operation, such as e-commerce, footwear and apparel, and cosmetics.
