Going global with smart manufacturing, why did Dashi Smart choose Thailand?

From October 14 to 16, 2026, Metal Thailand 2026, jointly organized by the China Foundry Association, China Heat Treatment Industry Association, and China Welding Association, successfully concluded at the BITEC Exhibition Center in Bangkok, Thailand.

As a seasoned representative of the domestic foundry industry, Dashi Intelligent attended the exhibition with its full-process intelligent foundry solutions, showcasing to the ASEAN market the company's practical achievements in foundry intelligence. It also collaborated with domestic and international industry organizations and enterprise representatives to explore green and intelligent upgrade paths for the Southeast Asian heat processing industry.

Focusing on the new ASEAN manufacturing landscape and decoding opportunities in the Thai market

The industrialization process in Southeast Asia is accelerating, driven by manufacturing expansion, continuous infrastructure investment, and industrial digital transformation. These factors are steadily boosting the demand for production equipment, automation systems, and high-end castings, gradually forming manufacturing clusters linking Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

Thai manufacturing companies are increasingly in need of efficient production equipment, precision machining processes, and intelligent automation solutions, creating broad opportunities for domestic casting equipment companies to go overseas.

Deeply cultivating casting automation, with practical solutions for the entire process

Upgrading a casting workshop often isn’t just about changing a single process, but a systematic project that optimizes the entire workflow together.

Dashi Intelligence has been deeply involved in the field of foundry automation for 30 years, with its business covering the full industry chain including melting, high-temperature transfer, core making, online storage, molding, casting cleaning, and inspection. It has accumulated extensive engineering experience from both domestic and international first-line factories, forming a set of intelligent implementation capabilities that can be replicated and adapted to various scenarios.

For the melting process, the company's alloy automatic batching and furnace sampling systems have been refined through more than ten years of project practice. Its self-developed automatic slag removal equipment replaces previously labor-intensive steps with high variability, reducing on-site safety risks and improving production process consistency. Around core making, molding, and post-processing of castings, the company has developed complete solutions such as automatic loading and unloading of sand cores, integrated dipping and drying, automatic core removal on molding lines, automatic casting cleaning, and intelligent appearance inspection. These solutions help foundries effectively reduce costs, improve efficiency, stabilize quality, enhance working conditions, and relieve the labor pressure on front-line staff.

Tackling the pain points of high-temperature transport, making furnace-side operations unmanned

Transporting molten iron and aluminum has long been a tough and risky key process in foundries. Traditional production mostly relies on forklifts and gantry cranes, with heavy human involvement, making stable operations and safety management quite challenging. Addressing this common industry pain point, the MoltenTitan high-temperature liquid transport AGV was born. It can handle automatic liquid pickup at the furnace, navigate on its own, and automate pouring along the production line—all without any human operation.

This product has gone through 9 years of targeted R&D, fully adapting to the complex conditions of smelting workshops, such as high temperatures, heavy dust, and strong impacts. It has been verified in real smelting production scenarios for 5 years, covering over 20,000 kilometers. The equipment comes with 360° laser safety protection, a positioning accuracy of ±15mm, and integrates lifting, covering, and weighing functions. It supports 50A wireless charging and can seamlessly connect with existing enterprise production management systems. The two models cater to both flexible transport and heavy-duty production scenarios, providing a reliable intelligent equipment choice for transporting high-temperature molten metal.

Using the exhibition to build bridges and promote industrial upgrades in Southeast Asia

For Dashi Intelligent, participating in Metal Thailand 2026 is not just a focused showcase of products and technology, but also a valuable opportunity for in-depth dialogue and exchange with the Southeast Asian casting industry.

First, bring the vast engineering experience accumulated in domestic foundries to the ASEAN market, helping local manufacturing companies avoid unnecessary detours during their smart upgrade process;

Second, identify local partners and build long-term collaborative ties to jointly create an ecosystem for industrial cooperation;

Third, promote technologies already fully tested in domestic factories, like high-temperature liquid transfer AGVs and automatic slag removal, for implementation and promotion in Southeast Asia.

This is exactly how the company practices its philosophy of 'making smart manufacturing simpler': turning complex automated solutions for the entire casting process into practical, easy-to-implement solutions that empower regional industrial transformation.

Metal Thailand 2026 is an important window connecting the Chinese and ASEAN casting industries. A number of key domestic equipment companies are showcasing their technological achievements abroad, exploring green and smart transformation paths with Southeast Asian peers, and promoting deep and practical sharing of technological experience and capacity collaboration.
